Rockies Venture Club, an angel investor association from the Rocky Mountain region with a mission to provide education for both investors and entrepreneurs by hosting events and conferences, is organising their annual cannabis conference.
Initially set to be in April, judging by their website the event has been postponed and should run somewhere later during the year. Entry tickets will sell for $229 for the general public, and companies will be able to exhibit from $1000 making this a very interesting events for companies looking to interact with investors. Special prices will be available for RVC members.
Startups will receive training on how to interact with investors, and investors will have the chance to learn how to invest in cannabis startups by listening to talks from startups that have already been through the process.
Panel talks topics will cover the more obvious medical and recreational sectors, along with new opportunities that are emerging for industries such as banking, energy and real estate.
The conference will be complimented by a workshop for anyone who is interested in investing in cannabis which will take place the day after the event.
