The High There! app has been dubbed the tinder of cannabis but it is much more than that. It is actually intended for platonic relationships rather than dating, it is about finding like minded people. High There! Co-Founder Todd Mitchem sees it as part of a movement he likes to refer to as “Weed 2.0”.
Last week Todd Mitchem announced that High There! is going global. Unfortunately as of now the High There! app doesn’t seem to be globally avaialable. At least it is not yet available in the countries of the Ganjatech crew so we can’t tell you excactly how it works, if it is as good as we think or when it will be finally available around the world.
Just like Todd Mitchem we have “high” hopes for it too but from a consumer point of view. It could really be a gamechanger, just imagine you are moving to a new city in a place where cannabis is not legally obtainable. What if you don’t know anybody there? How do you find some stoner friends if you are not very socially outgoing? What if you are really desperate for a smoke? You might be forced to live in abstinence or go to the most shady place in town. Wouldn’t it be great to have an easy way of finding some non-judgemental stoner friends who you can just watch a movie with and chill? High There! seems to be the perfect solution! We will peridically check and update when we find out more. Heck, we might even do a field test.
